Seeking an experienced SAP Basis and HANA Administrator to manage and optimize SAP and HANA databases within a Microsoft Azure environment.

This role involves ensuring high availability, performance tuning, and expert-level administration of SAP HANA systems. You will be responsible for day-to-day support, upgrades, migrations, and ensuring the integrity of SAP landscapes. The position requires a proactive approach to system maintenance and problem-solving.

Key responsibilities include leading HANA database performance tuning and HA/DR strategies for both SAP and HANA DBs. You will configure and manage SAP Solution Manager functionalities, including Technical Monitoring, BPCA, BPMON, and Test Suite Management, alongside CHARM configuration. Perform comprehensive SAP Basis administration, encompassing daily support, system upgrades, refreshes, migrations, and conversions. Expertly administer SAP HANA databases, focusing on monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting using SAP HANA Cockpit and Studio.

Manage system installations, configurations, backups, and restores, along with routine maintenance and operations. Plan and execute system upgrades and migrations, schedule background jobs, and manage SAP transports effectively. Conduct infrastructure sizing assessments and plan/perform database upgrades and maintenance. Engage directly with clients to gather requirements, provide solutions, and lead teams while collaborating with client stakeholders.

A proven track record in SAP Basis and HANA administration is essential, with expert-level experience in HANA database management and performance tuning.

Proficiency in Microsoft Azure for SAP workloads is required, alongside experience with SAP Solution Manager setup and management (Technical Monitoring, BPCA, BPMON, Test Suite Management, Charm configuration).

Skills in daily SAP Basis support, upgrades, refreshes, migrations, and conversions are necessary.

Strong capabilities in monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting SAP HANA systems using SAP HANA Cockpit and Studio are expected.

Experience with system installations, configurations, backups, restores, and routine maintenance is vital.

Ability to independently gather requirements, work with customers, possess excellent written and oral communication skills, and lead teams are critical attributes for this role.

Experience with SAP RISE landscape support, SAP service request scheduling, and patch management is also required. Flexibility to work in any shift is a must.
