Seeking an experienced Enterprise and Business Application Principal Consultant to oversee release lifecycles and drive efficient software delivery. This role is crucial for bridging communication between development teams and ensuring smooth project execution.

Key responsibilities include planning project deliverables, coordinating release schedules, and proactively managing risks to maintain scope, schedule, and quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps, Agile, and project management, with a focus on improving release processes and ensuring adherence to requirements and budget.

We are looking for a candidate with proven expertise in computer programming and team leadership. Experience with Application Release Automation tools and a solid understanding of application infrastructure and system architecture are essential for success in this position.

Plan and manage the release of project deliverables throughout the entire release lifecycle. Facilitate clear communication of project plans, timelines, and requirements between various teams. Coordinate release schedules and allocate necessary resources, considering third-party applications, defect backlogs, and infrastructure updates. Proactively identify and mitigate risks that could impact release timelines, scope, or quality. Continuously monitor progress, identify issues, and drive improvements in the release process. Ensure releases are planned and executed within defined requirements and budgets. Schedule and conduct release readiness reviews before deployment and milestone reviews post-release. Develop comprehensive implementation and deployment plans aligned with release schedules. Provide weekly updates on all release activities. Ensure the appropriate allocation of Release Engineers for each release. Liaise with release managers across different IT departments. Lead Go-Live activities to ensure successful software deployment. Collaborate with development teams to enhance automation tools for software development and deployment. Organize CAB meetings to discuss release schedules and address potential roadblocks. Maintain essential documentation for build and release procedures, notification lists, and dependencies. Drive improvements in configuration management and software development methodologies.

A B.Tech in Computer Science or an equivalent degree is required. Demonstrated project management experience is essential. Proficiency in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines is expected. Possess 4-5 years of hands-on experience with DevOps and Agile methodologies. A working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle is necessary. Expertise in computer programming is a key requirement. Strong team management skills are vital for this role. Experience with Application Release Automation tools such as ElectricFlow, Puppet Enterprise, Buildmaster, and Visual Studio Release Management is highly desirable. Familiarity with traditional agile methodologies, including Scrum, Waterfall, or Kanban, is important. A good understanding of application infrastructure, system architecture, and operating systems is required.
