Join the Looker Control Plane team at Google Cloud to architect and manage the core infrastructure for Looker's global multi-cloud environment. This role involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of Looker instances across GCP, from billing and resource provisioning using Terraform to orchestrating multi-region GKE deployments.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
Possess at least 8 years of software development experience, proficiency in languages such as Python, C++, Java, Go, or JavaScript is essential.
Include a minimum of 3 years in a technical leadership capacity, overseeing projects, complemented by 2 years in people management, supervision, or team leadership.
Demonstrate hands-on experience leading engineering teams that work with container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes and cloud platforms, specifically Google Cloud Platform.
Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field, alongside experience in building, scaling, and maintaining distributed systems and multi-cloud infrastructure.
