As an Engineering Manager within the HR Products organization, you will lead a critical product line focused on Employment Products, a foundational element of Rippling. This role offers significant impact, high visibility, and excellent growth prospects, particularly within our Global Expansion initiatives.

You'll be instrumental in making pragmatic technical decisions that shape the future of our products. This position requires a blend of technical acumen and product development expertise, with the opportunity to influence the overall architecture and ensure our products are scalable, extensible, and consistently reliable.

Lead and manage a team of engineers within the HR Products organization, focusing on our strategic Employment Products.

Drive the development and execution of product roadmaps, defining milestones and ensuring successful delivery of both small and large-scale projects.

Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, both domestically and internationally.

Foster a culture of high ownership and technical excellence, mentoring developers and guiding technical decisions.

Contribute to shaping the product architecture, ensuring scalability, extensibility, and robust performance.

A strong product-building mindset and a track record of thriving in high-ownership environments.

Proven experience in building scalable products from end-to-end, with involvement in defining and delivering significant projects.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate closely with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Execution-oriented with a clear understanding of roadmap setting, milestone definition, and outcome achievement.

A minimum of 5 years in a managerial role, with a prior 7-8 years of experience as an Individual Contributor.

A solid technical foundation, enabling effective guidance and review of engineering work.

Exceptional communication skills, crucial for working with distributed teams.

Total experience ranging from 8 to 15 years (including both Individual Contributor and Managerial roles).
