Join Goldman Sachs as an Engineering Vice President specializing in Software Engineering in Hyderabad. Our engineers are instrumental in transforming the financial landscape by developing scalable software, architecting low-latency solutions, and leveraging advanced technologies like AI and machine learning.

This role is for a founding member of a new AI Agentic Systems team. You will pioneer a new approach to software engineering by building autonomous agent "swarms" designed to tackle complex firmwide compute infrastructure challenges. This is an opportunity to shape a novel paradigm of dynamic, goal-oriented systems that operate across the entire firm.

Architect and deploy multi-agent systems, or "swarms," capable of autonomous planning, reasoning, and execution within distributed cloud environments.

Develop robust interfaces to facilitate high-fidelity feedback loops and ensure operational transparency between AI agents and human stakeholders.

Create agentic solutions for complex compute infrastructure needs, focusing on real-time observability, predictive optimization, and automated capacity planning.

Contribute to the development of the "agentic substrate," including platform and tooling for secure data access, code execution, and firmwide API interaction.

Collaborate with diverse business units to identify impactful use cases for agents and translate business requirements into technical agentic workflows.

Demonstrate strong proficiency in software engineering with expertise in Python, Go, or C++. A deep understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architecture, including experience with AWS, Azure, or private clouds, is essential.

Possess direct experience deploying LLM-based agents in production settings. Familiarity with orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGPT, or custom solutions is required.

Show a proven ability to apply agentic patterns to at least two key problem-solving domains: Data Analysis, Observability, Optimization, or Planning.
