Join a pioneering AI Agentic Systems team at Goldman Sachs, dedicated to tackling large-scale compute infrastructure challenges. As a founding member, you will shape the future of software engineering by developing autonomous agent "swarms." These systems will integrate with human teams and digital platforms to enhance global technology operations, driving innovation in areas like AI, risk management, and big data.
This role offers a unique opportunity to move beyond traditional automation towards dynamic, goal-oriented agentic systems. You'll be instrumental in creating new business paradigms and transforming the finance industry through cutting-edge technology.
Design and deploy multi-agent systems for autonomous planning and execution in distributed cloud environments. Develop interfaces for seamless integration between AI agents and human stakeholders, ensuring transparency. Build agentic solutions for complex infrastructure needs, including real-time monitoring, predictive optimization, and automated capacity management.
Contribute to the foundational "agentic substrate," enabling secure data access and API interactions. Collaborate with business units to identify high-impact agent use cases and translate business needs into actionable agentic workflows.
Possess strong proficiency in Python, Go, or C++ with a solid grasp of distributed systems and cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, or private clouds). Demonstrate hands-on experience deploying LLM-based agents in production, utilizing frameworks like LangGraph or AutoGPT.
Showcase a proven ability to apply agentic patterns to at least two areas: Data Analysis, Observability, Optimization, or Planning. An entrepreneurial spirit and comfort with ambiguity are essential for thriving in this 0-to-1 environment and building novel systems.
