This role focuses on safeguarding the platform by analyzing and mitigating fraud and abuse within Google's ad products. Perform in-depth analysis and investigations using diverse data sources to identify and combat emerging fraud and abuse tactics impacting Google's ad products. Collaborate closely with Engineering teams to enhance ad traffic infrastructure, bolster defense systems, and refine workflows. Drive the full project lifecycle across Product, Engineering, and Trust & Safety teams to proactively prevent abuse by improving policies and addressing product vulnerabilities. Work with global teammates to deliver projects efficiently and effectively. This role may involve exposure to sensitive content.

We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, possessing at least 5 years of experience in data analysis. Proficiency in identifying trends, generating summary statistics, and extracting insights from quantitative and qualitative data is essential. A strong command of SQL for technical audits and data analysis, alongside experience in data analytics and scripting with Python, is required.
