Join our Trust and Safety Ads team as an Engineering Analyst, where you'll tackle critical challenges to ensure product integrity and user safety.
This role involves leveraging technical expertise, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of user behavior to protect users and partners from abuse within Google Ads products. You will be a vital strategic player, dedicated to upholding ethical standards and fostering user trust.
Work on a global scale, collaborating with Google engineers and product managers to swiftly identify and combat abuse and fraud. Your efforts will be instrumental in promoting user trust and maintaining the highest levels of safety across our advertising platforms.
Lead significant projects and cross-functional initiatives, engaging with executive stakeholders across engineering, legal, and product teams.
Enhance performance metrics by understanding the root causes of abuse, and collaborate with team members to achieve outstanding business outcomes.
Contribute technically by applying investigative and programming skills to ensure solutions integrate seamlessly with complex product and backend infrastructures.
Develop and implement large-scale, cross-functional strategic solutions focused on user safety, process optimization, and secure business operations for advertisers.
Utilize excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Science, Applied AI, or a similar technical field.
Preferred qualifications include 7 years of industry experience in analyzing, extracting, and visualizing insights from diverse datasets. Experience in conceptualizing, designing, and building production-ready machine learning solutions is highly valued.
A proven track record of delivering impactful recommendations that have been adopted and driven tangible business results is essential. The ability to collaborate effectively with teammates while independently driving workstreams and overcoming obstacles is key.
