Join our Trust and Safety Ads team and take on critical challenges safeguarding the integrity of our products. You will leverage your technical expertise, sharp problem-solving abilities, and user-centric approach to shield users and partners from abuse across all Google Ads products. This role demands a strategic, passionate individual dedicated to upholding ethical standards. Working globally and cross-functionally with Google engineers and product managers, you will combat abuse and fraud with speed and urgency, fostering user trust and ensuring the highest levels of online safety.

Lead impactful projects and cross-functional initiatives, engaging with executive stakeholders from engineering, legal, and product teams. Design and implement enhancements to performance metrics by understanding abuse drivers, collaborating with teammates to achieve outstanding business outcomes.

Contribute technically to the team, applying investigative and programming skills to ensure solutions seamlessly integrate with complex product and backend infrastructures. Develop and execute scalable, cross-functional strategic solutions focused on user safety, process optimization, and secure business operations for our advertisers. Showcase excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, influencing stakeholders effectively across various organizational levels.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required. Candidates should possess at least 5 years of experience in Data Science, Applied AI, or a comparable technical field.

Preferred qualifications include 7 years of industry experience in analyzing, extracting, and visualizing insights from large, diverse datasets. Demonstrated experience in conceptualizing, designing, and building high-impact machine learning solutions integrated into production systems is highly valued. A proven track record of delivering investigative recommendations that have been adopted and driven significant business impact is also a plus. The ability to collaborate effectively with team members while independently driving workstreams and overcoming obstacles is essential, alongside strong communication skills for concisely conveying work results verbally and in writing.
