Join our Trust and Safety Ads team and tackle critical challenges that impact the integrity and safety of our products. You'll leverage your technical expertise, sharp problem-solving abilities, and user insights to safeguard users and partners from abuse across Google Ads. As a strategic, proactive team player, you'll collaborate globally and cross-functionally with Google engineers and product managers.

Your mission is to identify and combat abuse and fraud at Google speed, ensuring the highest levels of user safety and fostering trust in Google. This role may involve exposure to sensitive or upsetting content.

Lead critical projects, investigations, and cross-functional initiatives, engaging with executive stakeholders from engineering, legal, and product teams.

Design and implement improvements to performance metrics by understanding the root causes of abuse, and empower teammates to achieve exceptional business outcomes.

Provide technical leadership, utilizing investigative and programming skills to ensure solutions integrate seamlessly with complex product and back-end infrastructures.

Develop and deliver large-scale, cross-functional strategic solutions focused on user safety, process optimization, and maintaining a secure business environment for advertisers.

Utilize strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills to influence stakeholders across various levels.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Science, Applied AI, or a related technical field.

Preferred qualifications include 7 years of industry experience in analyzing, extracting, and visualizing insights from large datasets.

Demonstrated experience in conceptualizing, designing, and building impactful machine learning solutions integrated into production systems.

A proven track record of driving real-world business impact through adopted investigative recommendations.

Ability to effectively collaborate with team members while independently driving workstreams forward and overcoming obstacles.

Strong communication skills, with the capacity to concisely convey work results both verbally and in writing.
