Drive user trust and safety by proactively managing and mitigating payment fraud and abuse within Google's extensive product ecosystem. Investigate complex fraud and abuse incidents, meticulously identifying emergent patterns and trends to develop comprehensive risk management strategies.
Conduct thorough end-to-end assessments of product and feature vulnerabilities, subsequently designing and implementing effective fraud and abuse mitigation measures. Leverage payments and risk data warehouses for statistical analysis, collaborating closely with engineering and product teams to enhance tools and systems for improved functionality and accuracy.
Engage with and collaborate across diverse global, cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and various stakeholders, to successfully launch risk mitigation solutions. Participate in an on-call rotation to address and manage high-priority escalations that may arise outside standard working hours, including weekends and holidays.
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required. You must have at least two years of experience in data analysis, with a proven ability to identify trends, generate summary statistics, and derive insights from both quantitative and qualitative data.
Additionally, two years of experience in project management, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables, is essential. Preferred qualifications include four years of experience within the Payments industry, focusing on risk or fraud management, alongside experience querying and analyzing large datasets. Strong project and program management skills are highly valued.
