Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services is seeking a dynamic Engagement Manager for the Healthcare and Life Sciences sector. You will be instrumental in guiding the delivery of complex, multi-workstream programs, orchestrating teams of over 50 AWS builders, partners, and clients. The core focus is on achieving transformative outcomes in AI, data, and enterprise modernization for leading HCLS organizations worldwide.

We collaborate closely with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud computing and AI transformation initiatives. Our offerings are designed to assist customers in achieving specific goals related to enterprise cloud adoption, supported by specialized guidance from our global specialty practices across various solutions, technologies, and industries.
- Cultivate and maintain trusted executive-level relationships (VP+), offering strategic guidance on program direction, health, risks, and trade-offs to support informed executive decisions. - Proactively manage interdependencies, effectively mitigate risks, and ensure accountability for program outcomes within ambiguous and rapidly evolving environments. - Coordinate seamlessly across customer business units, IT departments, and partner teams, aligning stakeholders on priorities, timelines, and success metrics while escalating blockers for resolution. - Establish and track measurable customer business outcomes, such as time-to-market acceleration, using these as the benchmark for program success. Translate technical delivery progress into executive-ready value narratives that clearly demonstrate ROI and inform strategic decisions. - Oversee program financial health, encompassing forecasting, revenue recognition, commercial management, negotiation of change requests, and scope management for fixed-price, milestone-based delivery structures. - Influence human and agent builder teams by establishing clear operating models and responsible AI guardrails, especially as delivery increasingly integrates AI-augmented development workflows and agentic automation. - Champion the adoption of AI-Driven Development Life Cycle (AI-DLC) methodologies across delivery programs. Adapt delivery models and team structures for accelerated scale and pace, establishing outcomes-based governance frameworks for AI-native builds, and guiding multi-agent systems at scale to enhance program delivery productivity. - Implement and enforce robust governance frameworks for agentic AI in delivery. This includes ensuring observability, cost controls, human-in-the-loop checkpoints, and compliance guardrails, thereby ensuring AI-augmented workflows are auditable, secure, and compliant with customer regulatory requirements. - Proactively identify opportunities for ProServe and other AWS teams to innovate and accelerate customer goal achievement.
- Possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. - Alternatively, demonstrate 5+ years of experience in solving technology-related problems within the Healthcare/Life Sciences Industry. - Proven ability to deliver results for large, cross-functional initiatives or projects, or expertise in resolving complex business challenges through accurate and timely financial modeling, analysis, and recommendations that have demonstrably impacted business metrics (e.g., cost savings, operational enhancements, customer benefits). - Accumulate 5+ years of experience in technology transformation program management. This should include leading complex, multi-workstream delivery programs (exceeding $5M annually in professional services revenue) from inception to completion, with a strong focus on governance, program delivery quality and velocity, and financial health.
