As an Enforcement Detection Analyst, you will play a critical role in swiftly identifying and removing harmful content and users, a vital task given the immense volume of content uploaded every minute. Your primary focus will be combating abuse within the YouTube Partner Program.
Develop and deploy scalable strategies for enforcing YouTube's policies, providing data-backed insights to enhance abuse prevention and enforcement effectiveness. Leverage Machine Learning and AI where applicable.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in Engineering, Product, Policy, and Operations to drive complex anti-abuse solutions.
Provide rapid incident response for abuse-related issues, working autonomously. Analyze root causes, define, and implement mitigation strategies.
Quickly master complex technical concepts and systems to deliver impactful results. Effectively communicate technical findings and methodologies.
Design and refine LLM solutions and agents to improve the accuracy of identifying and classifying abusive content and behaviors.
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
Possess at least two years of experience in data analysis, including identifying trends, generating statistical summaries, and deriving insights from both quantitative and qualitative data.
Demonstrate two years of experience in project management, encompassing the definition of project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience or a strong interest in large-scale anti-abuse operations is a plus. A proven ability to use Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI to address business challenges is desirable. The capacity to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, gather requirements, explain models, and drive iterative improvements is essential. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a history of exceeding expectations in operational enhancements and tackling difficult issues, are expected. Strong written and verbal communication skills are also required.
