Join our dynamic Risk & Brand Protection Group as a Deputy Manager specializing in Independence and Conflicts within Assurance Services. This role is based in Bengaluru and involves collaborating with internal clients and various teams to provide expert evaluation of potential conflicts, ensuring adherence to global policies and procedures.

As part of the central Conflicts/Independence team, you will play a crucial role in the client and engagement acceptance process. You will work closely with business and function teams across service lines to offer comprehensive conflict evaluations, upholding the integrity and reputation of the firm.

Your responsibilities will include: - Analyzing client structures, ownership information, and affiliate relationships to assess independence implications. - Evaluating business relationships, service arrangements, and financial interests against independence requirements. - Identifying potential independence threats and recommending effective mitigation strategies. - Monitoring engagement acceptance testing processes and managing related reporting activities. - Completing independence and conflict checks for merger and acquisition data. - Assisting with management activities such as dashboard and MIS reporting. - Reviewing the work of junior team members, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

We are seeking a qualified CA with a minimum of 4-6 years of overall experience, including 1-2 years specifically in Compliance and Risk Management.

A strong command of the English language, both spoken and written, is essential. Familiarity with audit client acceptance, conflict checks, and regulatory compliance processes is highly advantageous for this role. You should be adaptable and capable of contributing across various functions within the conflicts and independence team.
