Join our dynamic IT team as an Assistant Manager, focused on enhancing end-user operations and delivering reliable IT services. This role is crucial for maintaining seamless technology support within our shared services environment, ensuring a consistent and secure user experience.
We are dedicated to providing top-tier IT support, prioritizing service quality, security, and operational excellence. As part of this team, you will play a key role in managing site-level IT operations and end-user assistance.
Oversee and manage site-level IT support operations, including dedicated priority assistance for VIP users, and provide consistent reporting to central IT operations.
Lead the coordination of site-level escalations within IT operations, ensuring prompt communication, thorough follow-up, and effective resolution.
Ensure strict adherence to the firm's IT and information security standards, controls, and operational mandates.
Conduct regular health checks for onsite IT operations and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly status reports to the Reporting Manager.
Develop, review, and maintain essential site-level operational documentation, such as standard operating procedures and knowledge articles.
This role requires a B.Tech or BE in Computer Science, or an MCA, coupled with 5 to 6 years of hands-on experience in IT operations, end-user support, or workplace technology services.
A strong working knowledge of IT service management tools, with a preference for ServiceNow, is essential. Proficiency in Windows operating systems, desktop support, and general IT troubleshooting is expected.
Candidates should possess experience in incident management, service request management, and escalation procedures. A solid understanding of IT asset management, including lifecycle processes, secure disposal, and end-user backup solutions, is also required.
Familiarity with Microsoft workstation imaging frameworks and basic network/server troubleshooting skills, including exposure to Cisco and Azure, are beneficial. Proven team management, vendor coordination, and project management abilities are key. The capacity to support VIP users with discretion and clear communication, along with awareness of ITIL practices, is crucial.
