Join our dynamic Finance & Accounts team as an Accounts Payable Manager in Mumbai. This role is integral to Deloitte's South-East Asia CFO organization, focusing on accounting operations for a business unit. You will collaborate closely with overseas finance and billing teams, as well as internal engagement delivery teams to ensure timely collections and manage outstanding amounts effectively.

Manage collections and control overdues by engaging with overseas finance and billing teams. Process timely vendor payments and conduct document validation. Drive working capital improvements with a focus on achieving collection targets at month, quarter, and year-end. Perform detailed analysis of debtor and creditor reports, including ageing and payment status. Prepare and deliver ad-hoc reports, and interact regularly with senior leadership. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for document and invoice processing. Handle remittance details and maintain invoice status updates. Manage TDS returns for foreign payments and prepare assessment data for IT department notices.

A strong understanding of Accounts Payable processes is essential, coupled with assertive behavior to drive collections. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills are required. Familiarity with foreign payment processes, including document requirements and accounting principles for AR and AP, is crucial. Knowledge of FEMA and foreign currency invoice payment processing is beneficial. Proficiency in SAP for accounting entries is preferred. A solid grasp of corporate finance and accounting systems, procedures, and practices is necessary. Strong execution and project management skills are valued. Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, are a must. Experience with Power BI and building tools for finance process improvement are considered a plus.
