Join our dynamic Finance & Accounts team in Mumbai as an Accounts Payable Manager. This role is integral to the Deloitte South-East Asia CFO’s organization, reporting directly to a Manager. You will be a key player in our Accounting Operations, focusing on financial precision and efficiency.

As an Accounts Payable Manager, you will collaborate closely with overseas finance, billing, and engagement delivery teams to ensure timely collections and control outstanding dues. You will also work with overseas vendors and internal teams to process payments efficiently and manage document validation.

Your responsibilities will include driving working capital improvements, performing detailed analysis of debtor and creditor reports, and preparing ad-hoc financial reports. Regular interaction with senior leadership and stakeholders is expected, along with managing the remittance details and invoice status updates. You will also be responsible for TDS returns on foreign payments and preparing assessment data for the IT Department.

Candidates should possess assertive behavior and prior experience in driving collections. Essential skills include excellent stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal abilities. A strong understanding of foreign payment processes, including document requirements, and solid accounting knowledge in AR and AP are mandatory.

Proficiency in processing foreign currency invoice payments is required. While knowledge of SAP and FEMA is a plus, a strong grasp of corporate finance, accounting systems, procedures, and practices is essential. Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PPT, are necessary. Experience in building financial process improvement tools and project management skills would be advantageous.
