Join our Finance & Accounts team as a Manager in Mumbai, where you'll play a pivotal role in financial accounting operations. This position offers a dynamic environment to leverage your expertise in accruals, financial analysis, and reconciliation.

We are seeking a proactive individual to contribute to our month-end close process, reporting, and accounting operations. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency.

This role involves hands-on financial analysis, forecasting, and presentation development, providing valuable insights for business units and leadership. You will also prepare statutory accounts and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.

Review and process accruals, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in month-end close. Conduct detailed variance analysis and expense reviews to identify cost-saving opportunities. Perform in-depth financial analysis, including headcount, utilization, and billing data for group reporting. Oversee profit and loss reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations, maintaining data integrity. Develop and refine financial reports, ensuring meticulous data validation and analysis for group reporting. Serve as the primary contact for Accounting Operations with Business Unit Finance leaders and COOs. Maintain governance with execution teams in Payroll, AR/AP, and expense reports. Analyze L3 P&Ls, balance sheets, and statistical data to uncover trends and anomalies. Suggest process improvements to Accounting Operations based on identified trends and business unit feedback. Collaborate with teams to develop and refine financial forecasts and plans. Create and enhance MIS reports and presentations, ensuring clarity and accuracy for global submissions. Coordinate with the Accounting team, Propel finance, business units, and global teams, offering expert support. Prepare statutory accounts according to applicable GAAP and coordinate with Tax and other accounting teams.

A minimum of 10 years of experience in GL/FP&A within a service-based organization is essential. Prior experience in professional services, consulting, or technology services is preferred. Professional qualifications such as Chartered Accountant, ACCA, or CWA are highly valued. Proficiency in advanced Excel and PowerPoint is required, with a focus on practical application. Deep, hands-on working knowledge of SAP is a mandatory requirement. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detailed analysis are expected. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for clear and concise interaction. Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment is necessary.
