Join the Digital Excellence Centre (DEC) at Deloitte India as an Assistant Manager in Data Science. This role is central to developing innovative products and platforms that enhance customer experiences through design thinking and advanced technology.

The DEC team comprises a diverse group of experts, including subject matter specialists, technology professionals, quality assurance engineers, user experience researchers and designers, data scientists, and product managers, all dedicated to pushing technological boundaries.

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will spearhead the creation and deployment of sophisticated artificial intelligence products. Your duties will encompass designing and building advanced machine learning models, alongside the continuous refinement and updating of existing systems.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to identify high-impact data applications for solving critical business challenges. You will also mine and analyze medium to large datasets to extract valuable insights.

Furthermore, you will develop and implement robust statistical and machine learning models, as well as processes for their evaluation and improvement. Leading efforts to test, deploy, and iterate on data science solutions, and building/executing A/B tests are also integral parts of this role.

To excel in this role, strong proficiency in statistics and programming is essential, complemented by a comprehensive understanding of data science and software engineering principles.

We are looking for individuals with 3 to 5 years of experience, capable of processing complex datasets and performing exploratory data analysis to uncover significant trends and relationships.

Experience in applying statistical modeling, machine learning, NLP, and quantitative techniques to business problems is required, along with expertise in deep learning. The ability to effectively communicate statistical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences is crucial.
