Manage and mentor a cross-functional team of talented engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

Actively participate in board bring-ups and collaborate with partners to successfully launch new Chromebook and Googlebook devices.

Work with a global team of software and hardware engineers to propose and implement new technologies and process improvements.

Evaluate and enhance code and development processes for optimal scalability and maintainability. AI fluency is a core expectation for this role.

Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related technical field, or demonstrate equivalent practical experience.

Bring at least 8 years of experience in embedded or kernel software development, coupled with 3 years of proven people management experience.

Proficiency in using AI tools is expected, and you should be prepared to discuss your knowledge during the hiring process.

Experience with Linux development environments and tools like Git/Gerrit is highly desirable. Familiarity with coreboot, Zephyr OS, or other open-source projects, as well as knowledge of x86/ARM architectures, are considered strong advantages.
