This role is central to developing robust data pipelines and transformations. You will be instrumental in executing migration tasks, ensuring data integrity, and supporting delivery waves. As a Data Engineer, your primary focus will be on implementing Python-based scripts for data extraction and loading, alongside dbt transformation models. You will adhere to established standards and designs, executing migration tasks efficiently.

Key duties include developing Python scripts for data transfer, creating dbt models per design specifications, and writing basic dbt tests and SQL validation queries. You will also support data reconciliation, defect resolution, and participate in SIT and UAT cycles, while maintaining comprehensive documentation for all developed pipelines and models. Collaboration with senior team members to clarify requirements and resolve issues is also essential.

We are looking for professionals with a minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering or ETL/ELT development. A solid understanding of Python for data processing and strong SQL skills are essential.

Candidates should possess hands-on or foundational experience with dbt, coupled with familiarity with data warehousing concepts and batch processing. Prior experience working within offshore delivery teams is also required. This role emphasizes meticulous data handling, adherence to development standards, and effective collaboration.
