This Manager, Business Operations role within Deloitte's National Office in Bengaluru is key to driving strategic and operational initiatives. You will act as a vital link between business leadership and various support functions, including Finance, Talent, Technology, Risk, and Operations. The position focuses on enhancing governance, streamlining processes, and providing critical insights to support informed decision-making across the organization.
Key responsibilities include leading cross-functional projects, championing operational excellence, ensuring the successful adoption of enterprise platforms, and diligently executing leadership priorities. Drive robust business operations and governance by establishing and monitoring key performance indicators, supporting business planning, and coordinating strategic initiative execution. Lead end-to-end program and project management for cross-functional transformations, defining plans, managing risks, and ensuring timely delivery. Develop insightful business analytics and reports, analyzing financial and operational metrics to generate actionable insights. Identify and implement process improvements, driving standardization and leveraging digital solutions for operational efficiency. Effectively manage stakeholders across senior leadership, Finance, Talent, Technology, and Risk teams, fostering strong working relationships and influencing outcomes. Champion change management and adoption of enterprise platforms through clear communication and engagement plans. Ensure operational processes align with risk and compliance requirements.
A minimum of 7-9 years of total work experience is required, or 4-7 years of post-qualification experience in consulting, internal audit, advisory roles, or within an executive office. A CA, CIMA, ACCA, ICWA, CMA, or a similar finance professional qualification is preferred. Alternatively, an MBA/PGDM from a Tier 1/2 college or a Master’s degree in Finance, Business, or Economics is acceptable.
Essential skills include strong business and financial acumen with a deep understanding of P&L drivers, data analysis and modeling proficiency in Excel, and advanced problem-solving capabilities. Executive-level communication expertise in PowerPoint, coupled with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, is vital. Proven ability in execution and stakeholder management within a fast-paced environment, a strong ownership mindset, and the capacity to influence and drive accountability are crucial for success in this role.
