This role is crucial for maintaining the security, support, and recoverability of enterprise data protection services. You will manage compliance, risk, and control activities, ensuring robust data protection through vulnerability management, patch currency, and recovery validation across various technologies like Veeam, Dell, Infinidat, and Azure-based backups.

As a DPS Compliance SME, you will oversee compliance for enterprise Data Protection Services, including Veeam, Dell, Infinidat, and Azure backup. You will monitor alerts, identify vulnerabilities, and assess their impact to prioritize remediation efforts.

Key duties involve coordinating patch updates and upgrades with various teams, maintaining visibility across backup infrastructure, and validating ransomware-resilience controls. You will also review vendor advisories, track remediation actions, and analyze data for reporting.

Furthermore, you will support audits, enhance compliance processes through automation, and build strong relationships with internal teams and external vendors. Identifying opportunities for improving vulnerability assessment and reporting will be a key focus.

We seek an individual with advanced knowledge of enterprise backup and recovery operations, including policy design and disaster recovery. A profound understanding of Veeam Data Platform, Dell PowerProtect Data Domain, and Infinidat InfiniGuard is essential.

Expertise in Azure hybrid-cloud data protection, encryption, immutability, and cyber-recovery controls is required. Familiarity with tape libraries and vulnerability management frameworks is also important.

You should be adept at interpreting technical advisories, assessing risks, and translating them into actionable steps. Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, scripting, and APIs for data analysis and reporting is necessary. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are vital for collaborating across teams and communicating complex risks effectively.
