Lead the evaluation and selection of AI frameworks and LLM providers. Define and maintain the technical framework for AI agent solutions, including orchestration patterns and integration standards. Establish coding standards, testing practices, and deployment patterns for the AI engineering team.

Translate complex use cases into detailed technical designs, specifying agent behavior, data requirements, and integration points. Assess technical feasibility and design scalable agent solutions. Provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and mentor the engineering team on AI design patterns and prompt engineering.

Actively contribute to production code on critical paths, build proof-of-concept implementations, and represent the AI team in technical discussions with the Platform team. This role demands a blend of strategic architecture and practical implementation.

Requires a proven track record in AI/ML engineering with at least 7 years of experience, including 3 years in a technical lead role. Strong software engineering fundamentals in Python and modern development practices are essential.

Demonstrated expertise in designing RAG pipelines, prompt engineering strategies, and multi-agent orchestration patterns is crucial. Experience building and leading high-performing engineering teams is highly valued.

Candidates should possess a bias for rapid delivery without compromising quality, with the ability to move solutions from proof of concept to production. Effective communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders are expected. Experience in financial services or regulated industries is preferred.
