Within the Business & Market Insights (B&MI) group, we are seeking a Director, Technical Program Management to lead our Payment Reconciliation Intelligence program. This role is crucial for driving growth and innovation through unparalleled data-driven insights and advanced analytics, transforming complex data into actionable strategies for sustained competitive advantage.
Lead major projects and complex assignments with significant long-term business impact. Collaborate with business and technical partners to define project scope, identify potential value and ROI, and manage risks, benefits, and constraints.
Own all program-level initiatives, ensuring the success of individual delivery teams and providing people leadership to technical program managers within the program. You will also examine and recommend industry technologies, application frameworks, and create technology roadmaps.
Develop detailed cost and time estimates for solution implementation, define project technical scope, and manage scope throughout the project lifecycle. Identify program quality methodologies, define and track quality metrics, and drive continuous process improvement. You will manage multiple scrum teams, lead Agile/SAFe ceremonies, and champion progress tracking using tools like Jira and Rally.
Gain a strong technical understanding of product architecture and flows to propose effective solutions. Possess hands-on capabilities to track, analyze, and resolve critical issues. Effectively manage internal and external stakeholders, participate in technical discussions as a program representative, and guide trade-off decisions based on business goals, technical strategy, customer experience, and maintainability. You will proactively identify and manage the resolution of blocking issues.
A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent work experience, is essential, coupled with a proven history of successfully managing complex programs, projects, or products.
An advanced understanding of Agile/SAFe methodologies is required, including demonstrated experience in organizing ceremonies, planning deliverables, leading scrum meetings, managing cost/effort estimations, and driving prioritization discussions.
Possess a solid computer science foundation, ideally with hands-on experience in .NET or Java stacks, particularly with web applications and microservices architecture, and exposure to cloud technologies. Strong SQL skills are a significant advantage.
This role demands strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies, methodologies, and systems. Excellent written and verbal English communication is vital for managing stakeholders at all levels.
