We are seeking a visionary leader to guide our 150-person engineering organization, steering our technical strategy and delivering impactful new capabilities that redefine automated payments and vendor interactions.
Spearhead the technical strategy and multi-year roadmap for Amazon's AP platforms, aligning with FinAuto's long-term vision. Lead and inspire a distributed engineering organization of 150 professionals. Drive the delivery of advanced features, including agentic process automation, touchless document processing, ML-based payment risk scoring, and enhanced vendor self-service options. Champion AI-native development practices and foster outcome-focused, cross-functional teams. Ensure exceptional operational excellence for critical payment systems, maintaining precision, high availability, and global regulatory compliance. Cultivate strong partnerships with key stakeholders across Finance Operations, Controllership, Product, and business lines. Represent the organization effectively with VP-level executives on a daily basis.
Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field. Bring a minimum of 12 years of progressive leadership experience managing large engineering teams. Demonstrate robust expertise in architecting and operating distributed systems at massive scale. Showcase multidisciplinary experience spanning software development, product management, program management, and quality automation. Highlight experience with domain solutions involving critical risks, requiring exacting precision, high availability, and low latency.
