Provide strategic leadership and direction to multiple engineering teams and functional areas. Ensure optimal staffing levels and manage departmental training and development needs, including cross-training initiatives. Foster a high-performance culture by clearly communicating goals, objectives, and performance expectations. Oversee the review, approval, and implementation of new or revised operational processes and procedures. Allocate appropriate resources and manage budgets effectively to ensure timely, efficient, and predictable service delivery. Address operational and business concerns related to future programs and projects, guaranteeing consistent delivery of quality services.
A Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience is required, with an advanced degree being highly desirable. Significant experience in managing multiple functional areas, particularly within the EMVCO 3DS Payments domain, is essential. Expertise in developing and managing departmental budgets, coupled with formal business or management training (Project Management, Financial Management, Strategic Planning), is expected. A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in the EMVCO 3DS Payments field, a deep understanding of Software Engineering Concepts and Methodologies, and a proven ability to lead complex projects are critical. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in creating requirements documents, design documents, and financial analysis, are necessary.
