As a Director, you will lead the charge in defining and executing our strategic vision for Data Science and AI. You'll be instrumental in building and nurturing high-performing teams, fostering a culture of scientific rigor, and championing the adoption of advanced AI technologies across the organization.

Define and implement the organization's Data Science and AI strategy, aligning with business objectives. Lead and mentor Data Science and Machine Learning teams, cultivating technical leaders and a culture of innovation. Own the end-to-end data modelling strategy, ensuring statistical soundness and scalability. Drive the Machine Learning roadmap, encompassing diverse AI techniques from deep learning to generative AI. Establish enterprise-wide standards for model development, validation, and governance, including Responsible AI practices. Champion AI-powered tools to enhance Data Science workflows and accelerate development. Develop intelligent financial services capabilities, focusing on areas like credit risk, fraud detection, and customer intelligence. Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Business teams to integrate Data Science into product development. Drive adoption of MLOps practices for seamless model deployment and lifecycle management. Translate complex business problems into measurable, data-driven solutions and AI-powered products.

Requires 12+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, AI, or Statistical Modelling, with proven leadership of Data Science organizations. Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing teams delivering enterprise-scale AI/ML solutions. Strong expertise in Statistics, Probability, Machine Learning, Predictive Analytics, and experimental design. Proficiency in Python and modern ML frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch). Extensive experience designing scalable ML solutions and translating models into production systems. Deep understanding of model development, validation, explainability, monitoring, and governance. Familiarity with MLOps practices and ML lifecycle management. Strong SQL skills and experience with large-scale datasets and data processing platforms. Solid grasp of Responsible AI principles, including fairness, bias mitigation, and transparency. Experience applying AI tools to accelerate Data Science research and development. Preferred financial services domain knowledge, particularly in credit risk and lending. Working knowledge of advanced AI areas like Generative AI and Decision Intelligence. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills to convey complex technical concepts to senior leaders.
