Develop comprehensive data protection policies and procedures compliant with privacy laws and regulations. Conduct thorough assessments to identify data privacy risks and formulate effective mitigation strategies.

Monitor and evaluate data processing activities to ensure adherence to data protection laws and company policies. Provide expert guidance on Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), risk assessments, data governance, and privacy impact assessments. Design and implement security/privacy frameworks, processes, and controls.

A minimum of 10 years of experience in data protection or privacy compliance is required. Holding certifications such as CIPT, CIPM, or CIPPE is preferred. Deep understanding of data protection laws and regulations, especially the Personal Data Protection Bill in India, is essential.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment is key. A Bachelor's degree in law, information technology, or a related field is necessary.
