Join our Customer Success Unit as a Director Cloud Solution Architect, focusing on Data & AI. You will lead a team of skilled Cloud Solution Architects, empowering them to design, deploy, and scale cutting-edge solutions across platforms like Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Power BI, and various Azure AI services.

Lead and mentor a team of Cloud Solution Architects to deliver exceptional Data & AI outcomes for customers. Oversee the design and implementation of solutions, ensuring alignment with Microsoft methodologies and best practices. Proactively manage business and technical risks related to data quality, governance, AI model performance, cost, and Responsible AI principles.

Drive the team to identify and capitalize on cross-solution opportunities for Data & AI consumption and expansion, including data estate modernization and generative AI applications. Foster strong customer relationships with technical and business leaders, acting as a trusted advisor. Collaborate with partners and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless customer experiences and drive satisfaction.

Champion people management principles by modeling our values, coaching for success, and investing in team growth. Contribute to Microsoft's technical frameworks and reusable IP, especially in emerging areas like generative AI and AI agents. Encourage team participation in industry events and continuous learning to maintain technical readiness and industry leadership.

We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical or business field and a minimum of 8 years of experience in data platforms, AI/ML, cloud technologies, or solution architecture. A proven track record of at least 3 years in people management, leading technical teams, is essential.

Preferred qualifications include 6+ years in customer-facing technical roles with hands-on experience in data and AI solution delivery, and experience leading technical projects. Strong knowledge of modern data and AI architectures and Microsoft technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, and Azure OpenAI is highly desirable. Familiarity with data governance, security, and Responsible AI principles is also a key asset.

Technical certifications in data and AI, or equivalent experience, are advantageous. We are looking for individuals with 5+ years of people management experience, including managing technical architects or practice managers. This role requires a hybrid work arrangement, with one day per week in the office.
