Seeking a seasoned Director of Accounting & Reporting to lead comprehensive finance and accounting operations for clients. This pivotal role involves meticulous transaction review from a General Ledger perspective, including recording and overseeing entries for assets, liabilities, investments, borrowings, fixed assets, and employee-related costs. The focus is on driving operational excellence, delivering superior finance services, guiding teams, implementing technology-driven solutions, and fostering business expansion while acting as a trusted advisor to clients and senior management.

Manage end-to-end finance and accounting functions for clients, ensuring high-quality service delivery. Oversee the review and processing of accounting transactions, including assets, liabilities, investments, borrowings, fixed assets, and employee-related items. Lead high-performing teams, leverage technology to enhance efficiency, and support business growth initiatives. Act as a key point of contact, providing trusted advice to clients and senior stakeholders.

Drive operational excellence and ensure timely month-end and year-end closure activities. Prepare and review monthly management reports such as Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss Statements, Budget vs. Actual Analysis, and Aging Reports. Coordinate audit activities and ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and statutory reporting requirements.

Requires a minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, controllership, outsourced accounting, or finance transformation. Must possess a proven track record in managing complete finance and accounting functions, either for corporate entities or external clients.

Essential expertise includes General Ledger accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, month-end close processes, and financial statement preparation. Prior experience leading large client engagements and managing teams is critical. Proficiency with ERP platforms and financial reporting systems is necessary.

Strong understanding of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and statutory reporting is required. Experience in consulting, professional services, shared services, or managed services environments is highly preferred. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills are vital for interacting with internal teams, leadership, and client organizations.
