As a Digital Engineering Lead Engineer, you will be instrumental in the full systems life cycle, contributing to analysis, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, and implementation of complex applications. You will actively participate in component and data architecture design, technology planning, and testing for Applications Development (AD) initiatives. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and supporting emerging technologies are key. This role involves providing expertise in applications development, integration, and maintenance, while also contributing to project plans and offering insights on strategic decisions.

We are looking for a seasoned professional with at least 8 years of experience in Java, J2EE, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs, coupled with a strong background in leading the development of highly scalable and resilient applications. A deep architectural understanding of Spring Boot (6+ years) and significant experience with Angular (4+ years) are essential. Proven leadership experience (4+ years) in adopting new technologies, guiding development best practices, and overseeing technical project management is required. Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka (3+ years) is also necessary. Candidates should possess strong critical thinking, excellent communication skills, and experience in Agile environments. Experience with containerized platforms like OpenShift, CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and/or ADO, DevSecOps practices, and database management (SQL Server, Oracle) including performance tuning is highly valued. Proficiency in troubleshooting issues and recommending solutions is expected. While GCP experience is a plus, it is not a mandatory requirement for this role.
