Join our Ring Data Engineering Services team as a Digital Associate, contributing to cutting-edge ML data processes. This role involves creating high-quality written content for various media formats and labeling objects within audio, image, and video files. You will focus on producing clear, concise, and impactful content tailored to our target audience, ensuring accuracy and adherence to linguistic standards.

Your core responsibilities will include performing simple annotation tasks within defined ML data processes, such as audio, image, and video file labeling, utilizing internal tools. You'll also participate in data collection efforts following provided scripts and instructions, strictly adhering to compliance and confidentiality. A key aspect involves applying strong language skills, grammar knowledge, and linguistic rules to generate text that meets all grammatical and syntactical requirements. You will conduct quality audits, meet daily productivity targets, and meticulously track queries related to annotation or data collection, sharing insights with stakeholders for resolution. Daily task completion status will be monitored and reported. Maintaining confidentiality and compliance is paramount to protect customer data and Amazon's interests. You'll assist in testing new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ML data tools, and provide specific, timely feedback to enhance existing processes and ensure high-quality, consistent results. Additionally, you'll offer guidance on tool usage and other relevant topics as needed.

We are seeking candidates with a strong command of the English language, encompassing grammar, syntax, and vocabulary. A background in linguistics, creative writing, computational linguistics, or a similar field is advantageous. An analytical mindset is crucial for evaluating data to improve system performance. Proficiency with the Windows desktop environment, including Word, Excel, IE, and Firefox, is required. The role demands flexibility and a keen interest in performing repetitive tasks.
