This role focuses on building and maintaining new development tools and infrastructure. You will leverage your expertise in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), cloud technologies, container orchestration, and security to create robust systems. A key responsibility is developing and testing end-to-end CI/CD pipelines to ensure systems are secure.
As an Integration Engineer specializing in Apache NiFi, you will be responsible for the design, development, and operation of data flows and integration pipelines. This ensures secure, reliable, and scalable application-to-application (A2A) communication. Strong proficiency in NiFi flow design, data transformation, and operational reliability within distributed, cloud, or hybrid environments is essential for this position.
Design, build, and maintain NiFi dataflows for various application, system, and data integrations. Implement effective routing, transformation, enrichment, filtering, and orchestration patterns.
Utilize NiFi processors, custom scripts, and templates to develop reusable integration components. Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot NiFi flows in production environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
Manage versioning, configuration, and lifecycle through NiFi Registry. Apply robust security best practices, including SSL/TLS, authentication, authorization, encryption, and sensitive data handling.
Ensure adherence to data governance standards and maintain auditability across all data flows. Participate in on-call 3rd level support to guarantee the platform's high availability, reliability, and responsiveness to user needs.
A minimum of 3 years of dedicated experience with Apache NiFi is required, encompassing flow design, templates, processors, and NiFi Registry. Familiarity with Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP) and dataflow architecture is also essential.
Proficiency in REST APIs, JSON/XML/XSLT transformation, and scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Groovy is necessary. Experience working within cloud environments, particularly AWS, is preferred.
Knowledge of Kafka, message queues, event streaming, and data pipelines is beneficial. A solid understanding of security concepts, including certificates, authentication, authorization, and encrypted flows, is important.
Proficiency in Linux, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and monitoring tools is expected. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for distributed flow environments are key. The ability to guide and coach developers from user teams on Apache NiFi utilization is also a valuable asset.
