Join our team as a DevOps Engineer and play a vital role in bridging the gap between development and infrastructure. You will be instrumental in building and optimizing our development tools and infrastructure, leveraging your expertise in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD). This position is key to ensuring high operational service levels and the availability of our digital products, fostering collaboration between development teams and infrastructure departments.

Your primary focus will be on creating and testing robust CI/CD pipelines, ensuring systems are secure against threats. This role fosters collaboration, enabling development teams to efficiently operate and run their own software solutions. We are seeking a candidate who can translate complex infrastructure concepts into understandable terms for development teams and vice versa, driving decisions with both development and operational concerns in mind.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will channel requirements from development teams to infrastructure departments and serve as the primary contact for infrastructure requirements directed at development teams. You will initiate necessary software updates for infrastructure and provide essential support and coaching to development teams under the 'You build it – You run it' philosophy.

Key responsibilities include automating deployment pipelines, supporting teams with the setup of monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions and processes, and offering infrastructure expertise. You will also operate, monitor, and maintain shared middleware components, collaborating closely with operational service owners to ensure seamless service delivery.

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in DevOps. Practical experience with one or more relevant programming or command languages, alongside hands-on experience with configuration management tools, is essential.

Possessing deep knowledge of networking concepts and technologies, coupled with a good understanding of monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions, is crucial. Experience with software development methods and system administration in heterogeneous environments is highly valued. A 15-year full-time education is a prerequisite for this position.
