This role focuses on managing and optimizing Oracle databases, ensuring seamless operations across development, testing, and production environments. You will be instrumental in maintaining high availability, performance, and security.

Key duties involve installing, configuring, and maintaining Oracle databases, including upgrades and patching. You'll be responsible for performance monitoring, storage management, and capacity planning. Backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies are crucial aspects of this role.

Troubleshooting database incidents, resolving performance bottlenecks, and managing database security are core functions. Automating routine tasks using scripting languages like Shell or Python is essential. You'll collaborate with application teams and participate in on-call support.

Essential technical skills include deep expertise in Oracle Database administration (versions 11g to 21c), Oracle RAC, ASM, and OEM. Proficiency in advanced SQL, PL/SQL, query optimization, and performance tuning is mandatory.

Strong capabilities in backup and recovery, including Point-in-Time Recovery and Disaster Recovery Planning, are required. Automation experience with Shell Scripting or Python is a must. Preferred skills encompass Oracle GoldenGate, Exadata, OCI, AWS RDS, and Azure Oracle workloads.
