As a DevOps professional, you will own and manage container hosting environments for critical microservices and the data lake platform. Your duties include supporting core application platforms for continuous deployment and observability, and collaborating with infrastructure teams for Azure and OpenShift resource management.

You will also drive the migration of on-premises workloads to GitOps patterns, establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines, and embed DevSecOps practices. Acting as a gatekeeper for production deployments, you will manage the observability stack, respond to incidents with root cause analysis, and identify automation opportunities to boost efficiency. Implementing backup and disaster recovery strategies, along with creating essential documentation, are also key aspects of this role.

We require a strong, proven background in a DevOps role, ideally within Investment Banking or a similar regulated sector. Essential expertise includes a deep understanding of DevOps practices, tools, and technologies, with hands-on experience managing enterprise-scale microservice environments.

Proficiency with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker, Podman, Helm, ArgoCD, and GitOps is critical. Experience with OpenShift, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Storage, and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki is expected. Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Bamboo and Bitbucket, along with automation scripting in Bash, PowerShell, and Python, is also necessary.

Ideal candidates possess a high level of professionalism, strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and a commitment to continuous improvement. The ability to effectively plan, prioritize, and manage a demanding workload is paramount. Familiarity with Azure concepts, Java, Node.js, Kafka, or MongoDB are considered advantageous.
