NTT DATA is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA BASIS Consultant to join our dynamic team. Key responsibilities include planning, installing, configuring, and maintaining SAP S/4HANA systems, encompassing Fiori, Solution Manager, and other vital SAP components. You will manage system copies, client refreshes, and transport logistics.

Further duties involve implementing SAP Landscape Management (LaMa) and Solution Manager for enhanced monitoring and automation. You will coordinate system upgrades, enhancement packs, and support package deployments. Ensuring high system availability and participating in disaster recovery and high-availability setups are also core functions.

You will troubleshoot performance and connectivity issues across SAP landscapes (DEV, QA, PROD) and collaborate with functional, development, and infrastructure teams for seamless operations. Regular monitoring of system logs, background jobs, and security audits, along with maintaining comprehensive documentation, are essential.

We are looking for candidates with deep knowledge of SAP BASIS administration and S/4HANA architecture. Strong experience with SAP HANA DB administration and Linux OS environments is required.

Proficiency in SAP Solution Manager, Fiori, and Transport Management System (TMS) is essential. Hands-on experience with system monitoring tools, backups, and job scheduling is also necessary. An understanding of SAP Cloud (BTP) and hybrid landscape connectivity, coupled with excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, will set you apart.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with 5–8 years of SAP BASIS experience, including at least 2 years specifically in S/4HANA environments. SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP HANA Administration or SAP BASIS is preferred. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is a significant advantage.
