Join a groundbreaking team developing custom silicon solutions powering Google's direct-to-consumer products. You will play a key role in innovating hardware that enhances the user experience for millions globally, shaping the future of high-performance, efficient, and integrated computing. Our team is at the forefront of AI, software, and hardware integration, committed to creating radically helpful technologies and improving lives through advanced computing.
Lead and manage comprehensive verification for complex System-on-Chip (SoC) architectures, ensuring robust quality from pre-silicon through tape-out. Mentor and develop high-performing engineering teams, fostering technical excellence and career growth. Drive SoC-level pre-silicon emulation strategies for accelerated hardware-software co-verification and early bug detection. Oversee complex post-silicon debug activities, collaborating with validation teams to resolve silicon issues and validate pre-silicon coverage. Scale logic verification infrastructure and advanced methodologies, maintaining strong integration with cross-functional teams.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience, along with 15 years of front-end design or design verification experience. Proficiency in power-aware verification methodologies, fabric and interconnect architectures, and cache coherency protocols is essential. A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science is preferred, along with experience in high-bandwidth memory subsystems, managing engineering teams, and SoC-level verification using UVM-based environments, pre-silicon emulation platforms, and hardware accelerators. Strong programming skills in SystemVerilog, Verilog, Python, or Perl are highly valued.
