Join our Cyber Strategy & Transformation team in Pune as a Deputy Manager for Project Management (PMO). This role is critical in leading complex mainframe SDLC transformation programs, ensuring robust delivery and governance. You'll be instrumental in managing cyber risk, embedding security into strategy development, and protecting valuable organizational assets. We are looking for a seasoned Project Manager with a strong background in enterprise IT environments. Your expertise will guide end-to-end project execution, ensuring alignment with governance, risk, compliance, and control requirements. You will also play a key role in coordinating stakeholders across diverse global teams and time zones, fostering collaboration and ensuring successful program outcomes.
Lead end-to-end project and program delivery, leveraging Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban. Ensure adherence to delivery governance and project management discipline. Facilitate Agile ceremonies to enhance focus and drive outcomes. Coach Product Owners and team members on Agile principles and effective backlog management.
Remove impediments, manage risks and dependencies, and ensure clear stakeholder visibility. Drive operational readiness, including cutover planning, training, and support model handover. Define and track meaningful delivery metrics to continuously improve performance, quality, and team health. Maintain essential delivery tooling and documentation.
A minimum of 12-15 years of experience in project and program management within complex enterprise IT environments is essential. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage global delivery is required.
Demonstrable experience in Agile delivery roles, coupled with strong project/delivery management capabilities in large organizations. Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills are necessary to influence effectively without formal authority. Solid understanding of Agile methods (Scrum/Kanban) and hybrid delivery approaches is a must.
Proficiency with delivery tools such as Jira/Azure DevOps, Confluence, and MS Project is expected. Experience delivering technology-enabled change and operating in regulated environments with stringent governance is crucial. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field is required. Experience with mainframe projects is a significant advantage.
