Join Deloitte's Cyber Strategy & Transformation team in Pune as a Deputy Manager, focusing on Project Management within PMOs. We are looking for a seasoned Project Manager or IT Project Manager to spearhead delivery and governance for a critical mainframe SDLC transformation program. Your expertise will be crucial in driving the entire project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with governance, risk, and control standards. This position demands coordination across diverse global teams and time zones to achieve successful outcomes.

Lead the end-to-end delivery of a team, program, or value stream by integrating Agile leadership, delivery governance, and project management discipline. You will empower teams to achieve predictable results, proactively address impediments, manage risks and dependencies, and maintain clear stakeholder visibility from inception through to benefits realization.

Key duties include facilitating Agile ceremonies, coaching Product Owners and team members on Agile principles, establishing robust working agreements, and identifying/resolving systemic blockers. You will also manage RAID logs, run governance routines, oversee operational readiness, and define/track key delivery metrics for continuous improvement. Ensuring alignment with risk, control, and quality standards in regulated environments is also a primary focus.

This role requires a minimum of 12-15 years of project and program management experience within complex enterprise IT environments, with a proven track record of leading cross-functional and global teams. A strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and hybrid delivery models is essential, alongside excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.

Proficiency with delivery tools such as Jira/Azure DevOps, Confluence, and MS Project is required. Candidates should possess demonstrable experience in Agile delivery roles, manage cross-team dependencies effectively, and excel at communicating complex information between technical and non-technical audiences. Experience delivering technology-enabled change in regulated environments with robust governance is highly valued. Certifications like PSM/CSM, PRINCE2/PMP, or SAFe are advantageous. While not mandatory, experience with mainframe projects or knowledge of mainframe systems would be a significant plus.
