Join our team as a Java Solution Architect to shape and champion scalable, cloud-native architectures for Edward Jones. We are seeking an expert with deep Java and Spring proficiency, strong architectural leadership, and a growing familiarity with AI Native architecture patterns like RAG, LLMs, and cloud AI services.

You will be instrumental in designing and owning scalable application architectures and microservices for enterprise Java systems. This includes producing High-Level and Low-Level Design documentation, leading architecture reviews, and ensuring best practices are followed. You'll mentor development and QE teams, coordinate with onshore teams on priorities, and design cutting-edge AI Native architectures, including RAG-based embeddings and LLM integrations, leveraging Azure cloud AI services.

A minimum of 9 years of software engineering experience is required, with 13+ years preferred, and 3-5 years specifically in technical architecture for both on-premises and cloud systems. Essential skills include expert-level proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Spring Batch, alongside 3+ years of experience in AI Native architecture (RAG, LLM deployment, memory management, cloud AI services). Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI, fine-tuning models, and GenAI integrations is crucial, as are strong HLD/LLD skills and DevOps tooling knowledge (Maven, Git, CI/CD, Autosys). Excellent communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders is a must. Familiarity with RPM Packaging and Linux is a plus. Candidates with AI Native architecture experience are strongly preferred.
