The Practice Operations & Resource Management team acts as the essential operational support for Monitor Deloitte India, collaborating with leadership to ensure effective resource allocation, financial oversight, project execution, and performance management. This role centers on supporting the IT & Data workstream within post-merger integration and large-scale technology transformation initiatives. Key areas of focus include digital transformation, robust data management and migration strategies, and designing business-aligned data models. Success in this position involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and IT teams to guarantee that data structures, migration efforts, and governance frameworks align perfectly with business needs throughout ERP implementations, system integrations, or carve-out projects.

Key responsibilities include leading comprehensive IT M&A engagements from due diligence through post-merger value realization. This involves assessing IT landscapes, applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and operating models to identify risks, costs, and synergy opportunities. You will develop IT integration and separation strategies, define target-state architectures, and create transition roadmaps. Managing cross-functional stakeholders, PMO governance, budgets, risks, dependencies, and vendor coordination is crucial. The role also requires tracking synergy realization, integration progress, and business value delivery across acquired entities, while supporting executive decision-making with strategic assessments and business cases.

We seek a motivated professional with 5-10 years of relevant experience in a tier-1 IT firm, demonstrating a strong interest in IT M&A or consulting. Prior experience in leading client engagements and programs, with a proven ability to manage client interactions independently, is essential. Excellent academic credentials for both undergraduate and graduate coursework are expected, alongside strong advanced Excel skills. Outstanding written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills are a must. The role requires a willingness to take initiative, learn independently, and involves travel.
