Join our dynamic Infrastructure & Real Estate team as a Deputy Manager in Delhi. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive business development and lead client engagements within the investment promotion and government advisory space. You will be instrumental in shaping impactful solutions for a diverse clientele, including corporations, investors, and government bodies, leveraging Deloitte's global network and local expertise.
This position is ideal for a strategic thinker with a passion for the infrastructure sector. You will contribute to complex transactions, from capital raises and mergers to reorganizations, helping clients achieve stronger, more resilient performance and lead their industries through innovation.
As a Deputy Manager, your core responsibilities will involve spearheading business development initiatives and managing the end-to-end execution of client engagements. You will lead teams, guiding them to deliver exceptional client service and achieve impactful results. Key duties include developing business in target sectors, preparing business cases, feasibility studies, and marketing collateral, as well as managing bid processes.
You will provide expert advice on Public-Private Partnerships throughout their lifecycle, review transaction documents, and serve as the primary client contact. A strong commitment to learning and driving project closures is essential, with a focus on guiding team members to success and maintaining high standards of delivery across all transaction phases.
We are seeking candidates with at least 5 years of relevant experience in infrastructure finance and Public-Private Partnerships. A Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Engineering, or Planning is required, with a preference for Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering. Post-graduation in Management, an MBA, or CA qualification is highly preferred, with CFA and premier university backgrounds being advantageous.
Essential skills include strong report writing, financial analysis, and modeling capabilities, coupled with commercial acumen and market awareness. A solid understanding of transaction documents, the ability to multitask, and fluency in written and verbal English are crucial. Candidates with expertise in PPP/Infrastructure Advisory and a strong work ethic will be highly valued.
