Join our Integrated Program Management Office (PMO) team, a vital support unit for governance, performance assurance, risk management, and executive reporting across significant projects in mining, thermal power, and smelter expansion. We partner closely with management and project teams to ensure informed decision-making and disciplined execution.

As a Site Lead for the Integrated PMO, you will be the crucial on-ground leader, bridging communication between management, project teams, contractors, and consultants. Your role involves leading the deployment and operational excellence of the PMO for assigned projects, establishing robust governance, communication protocols, and escalation frameworks. Facilitate key review forums, provide independent assessments of project performance, and ensure timely escalation of critical issues.

You will be instrumental in monitoring project progress, budgets, and risks, while developing essential executive dashboards and reports.

Lead the deployment and operation of the Integrated PMO across assigned projects, including governance mechanisms, review cadence, stakeholder communication protocols, and escalation frameworks. Facilitate regular review forums with project leadership and executive management. Provide independent assessments of project performance and ensure timely escalation of critical schedule, cost, and interface issues. Review and challenge project schedules, assumptions, resource plans, and recovery strategies; oversee integrated schedules using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project. Monitor milestones, critical paths, float erosion, and schedule risks; lead deep-dive assessments of delayed activities and recommend corrective actions. Monitor budgets, forecasts, trends, contingencies, and change management processes; oversee variation orders, claims, and emerging commercial risks. Lead project risk workshops and maintain integrated risk registers; review contractor productivity, manpower deployment, and equipment utilization. Monitor long-lead equipment and critical packages; support the management of key vendor risks. Develop executive dashboards, MIS reports, S-curves, and portfolio-level reporting, coordinating with various project stakeholders. Track commissioning preparedness, handover planning, and closeout governance.

A Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably Mining, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Industrial) is required. A Master’s degree in project management, Construction Management, Engineering Management, MBA, or an equivalent is preferred. Experience in relevant industrial sectors such as mining, metals, power generation, large process plants, oil and gas, or heavy industrial projects is advantageous. Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project is essential, along with strong project controls, planning, scheduling, and forecasting skills. A comprehensive understanding of the project lifecycle from concept through commissioning, handover, and closeout is critical. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, written, and verbal communication skills are necessary. Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in remote project environments and multicultural teams is highly valued.
