Join our dynamic team as a Deputy Manager specializing in Guidewire Integration. This role offers technical ownership of Guidewire solutions across various domains, ensuring platform stability, scalability, and alignment with enterprise standards. You will provide technical direction, guide engineering teams, and serve as a primary escalation point.
This position moves beyond individual contributions to encompass technical strategy, quality assurance, and reliability for designated areas. It's an opportunity to shape the future of our Guidewire platforms and mentor fellow engineers.
Take full technical ownership of Guidewire solutions, including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, and Digital platforms. Lead solution design for intricate, cross-module requirements, prioritizing out-of-the-box capabilities and approving customizations judiciously. Provide technical leadership across multiple squads, governing solution designs and code for quality. Ensure integration architecture and implementation quality, alongside non-functional requirements like performance and reliability. Lead root-cause analysis for incidents and drive continuous improvement in platform stability and defect reduction.
Collaborate closely with Business Systems Analysts, Product Owners, and stakeholders to shape solution options and define realistic scopes. Mentor intermediate and junior Guidewire Developers, fostering technical depth and promoting best practices. Drive the creation and adoption of reusable components to enhance efficiency and reduce long-term costs.
We are seeking individuals with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on Guidewire development experience. A strong command of multiple Guidewire products (PC, CC, BC, Jutro, etc.) and extensive experience with complex integrations and distributed systems are essential. Proven success in managing technical delivery across multiple teams or modules is required.
A solid understanding of P&C insurance processes and regulatory landscapes is crucial. Candidates should also possess experience in owning production stability and operational outcomes, coupled with excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
