Join our Assurance team as a Deputy Manager, focusing on Fund Accounting and Reporting in Bengaluru. As a Senior Team Lead within the Assurance team, your primary focus will be on cultivating and strengthening positive relationships with both internal teams and external clients. The goal is to consistently surpass client expectations through diligent work and proactive engagement.

Your responsibilities will encompass maintaining general ledgers and trial balances for assigned funds and mandates. This includes accurate calculation of CUVs, distributions, and management fees, alongside the preparation of regulatory reports and annual financial statements.

You will also provide crucial support to clients in fulfilling their tax obligations, including income tax returns and tax component calculations for distributions. Furthermore, you'll manage the preparation of monthly BAS returns and deliver essential financial information to various stakeholders such as Fund Managers, Investment Managers, and the Valuations and Tax teams.

Ensuring seamless auditor and tax consultant signoffs for your assigned funds and mandates is a key aspect of this role. You will also actively contribute to finance projects and initiatives across the fund finance platform, collaborating effectively with offshore finance teams.

We are seeking candidates who are qualified or pursuing CA, CFA, or MBA, ideally complemented by a relevant tertiary qualification. An extensive work experience of 3-5 years in real estate fund accounting or a business services background with exposure to trust accounting is essential.
