As a Deputy Manager, you will cultivate strong client and team relationships while consistently exceeding expectations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Deeply understanding target businesses and their key drivers. - Assessing data accuracy and proactively resolving anomalies through direct client and third-party engagement. - Conducting thorough financial analysis to draw conclusions and identify critical issues. - Interpreting and evaluating publicly available information on target businesses. - Producing high-quality deliverables, including Excel and PowerPoint documents, within specified timelines. - Promptly reporting identified issues to your supervisor. - Engaging in a wide array of deals, including large cross-border transactions across various sectors. - Establishing credibility as a Deloitte Transaction Services representative. - Supporting business development and proposal activities.
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Chartered Accountant qualification, ideally achieved on the first or second attempt, with a strong academic record. - 1-3 years of relevant post-qualification experience. - Audit or related articleship experience is advantageous. - Prior transaction experience is a plus. - Proficiency in Indian GAAP; knowledge of IFRS is a significant advantage. - Advanced analytical skills and expertise in using MS Excel for data processing and analysis. - Strong commercial acumen and a keen awareness of market dynamics. - Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
This position requires frequent travel to client locations. Our default working model is hybrid, with specific arrangements tailored to each domain's needs.
