You will play a key role in deal execution and reporting, contributing to our clients' success in complex financial undertakings. As a Deputy Manager, you will cultivate strong professional relationships with clients and internal teams, striving to exceed expectations.
Key responsibilities include developing a deep understanding of target businesses and their drivers, assessing data accuracy, and resolving discrepancies through direct client and third-party engagement.
You will perform detailed financial analysis, interpret findings, and identify critical issues to report to management. Preparing high-quality deliverables within stipulated timelines, including Excel and PowerPoint documents, is also essential.
This role involves working on a variety of deals, including cross-border transactions across multiple industry verticals, establishing credibility as a representative of Deloitte Transaction Services, and supporting business development activities.
To excel in this role, you should be a Chartered Accountant, ideally qualified in your first or second attempt, with a strong academic record and 1-3 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
Experience in audit or related articleship, along with prior transaction exposure, would be advantageous. Familiarity with Indian GAAP is required, and knowledge of IFRS is a plus.
Essential skills include strong analytical capabilities, proficiency in MS Excel for processing and analyzing large datasets, robust commercial acumen, and keen market awareness. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also paramount.
The base location can be any Deloitte office across PAN India, and this profile requires frequent travel to client sites. Our default working model is hybrid, with domain-specific customizations.
