Join our dynamic Transaction Services team as a Deputy Manager, contributing to M&A transaction diligence, execution, and reporting. You'll be instrumental in providing clients with expert financial due diligence services, leveraging your analytical skills to navigate complex transactions.
Our global Transaction Services practice advises a diverse clientele, from entrepreneurs to private equity firms and corporations. We empower clients to emerge stronger from capital raises, mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations, driving performance and innovation through integrated solutions.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work on high-impact deals across various industries, fostering client relationships and contributing to business development activities. Your base location can be any Deloitte office across India, with frequent travel to client sites expected.
Develop a deep understanding of target businesses and their key drivers to inform diligence efforts.
Critically assess data accuracy and reasonableness, proactively addressing anomalies by liaising with clients and third parties.
Conduct thorough financial analysis of provided data to derive meaningful conclusions and identify critical issues.
Interpret, evaluate, and analyze publicly available information to support transaction assessments.
Prepare high-quality deliverables, including detailed Excel and PowerPoint documents, within stipulated deadlines, providing timely updates to management.
Identify and report key issues identified during your work to the Manager or supervisor promptly.
Engage in a variety of M&A deals, including large cross-border transactions, and build credibility as a representative of Deloitte Transaction Services.
We seek a Chartered Accountant, ideally qualified in the first or second attempt, with a strong academic record and 1-3 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
Experience in audit or a related articleship is beneficial, as is prior transaction exposure.
Familiarity with Indian GAAP is essential, with knowledge of IFRS considered an advantage.
Candidates must demonstrate robust analytical skills and proficiency in MS-Excel for processing and analyzing large datasets.
Strong commercial acumen, market awareness, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are crucial.
This position requires frequent travel to client locations. Our default working model is hybrid, with domain-specific adaptations.
